Fire at Olivias school
Or maybe not... Earlier today Olivias school had a visit from the Swedish Chef who was teaching them how to cook Swedish meatballs (whilst I cooked moose meatballs). When we started to fry them the fire alarm went off and all pupills, teachers and us had to evacuate! Guess who had detention today...

Milly and Carl Willy
We have just picked up my sister Camilla and cousin Carl Wilhelm from the Airport. At first, Camilla walked through the customs on her own and Carl Wilhelm sneaked out some 50 yards behind and trailed after us all the way to the car without blowing his cover.
At first I'm sure Anton was quite dissappointed that his old boring aunty was visiting but that soon changed. The picture was taken (with a poor camera) just as Carl Wilhelm appeared!

The Abominable Snowman

Today Debbie and Olivia went food shopping (Olivia took the picture - hence only Debbie in the picture) and as there has been warnings of heavy snow fall tonight the shelves were more or less empty. Seriously, there was a slight panic in the shop with people stocking up. It has now begun to snow heavily and if there is more than 1cm (2/5 inches) tomorrow the country will come to a stand still . We will just have to wait and see what it looks like when we wake up tomorrow but it is already 2 cm "deep"...
Debbie starts her new job tomorrow but her new boss has already called and said that she does not have to come in if there is chaos.

Bike Ride
Today, Sunday, we all went on a bike ride cos our little baby had to try out her new BMX, a BMX because she wants to be just as tough as her cool brother. The weather was beautiful and sunny but cold and icy. Cycled through Bookham Common to Downside north of M25 to the pub The Cricketers. It was in this pub we were with the Söderström family where "Wolf" made a fool of himself when he ordered wine and said "anything but French wine" to the obviously french landlord (obvious to all but Wolf - well his name is Ulf which means Wolf).

Happy Nude Year
Blondin "Jag syr mina egna kläder" Ulle
We dressed up as "The Swedish Family" at the Fancy Dress Party on New Years Eve at Debbies sister Sandra etc. Thanks to my extensive sewing skills and Debbies embarrassing hair growth, I'm rather proud of the outfits/misfits!
